Goodman Furnace F02 Code Explained: What It Means and How to Fix It

Goodman F02 indicates blower speed status on many newer models but can signal blower or airflow problems on others. If the furnace heats normally with no other codes, F02 may be benign. When F02 accompanies weak airflow, ignition issues, or repeated shutdowns, check/reset power, replace dirty filters, clear vents, and inspect/clean the blower wheel. Blocked venting, condensate clogs, and rare electrical/control board faults can also trigger F02.
