Marantec M line 4500 remote and wall switch not working fixed

About this video

My remote was not responding, all of the sudden, for no reason. My wall switch needed to be pressed multiple times in order to get my door to open or close. I checked the safety lasers, and they were lined up properly and working just fine. I tried replacing the batteries on the remote, but that didn't change anything.

I watched some videos on YouTube for how to program this brand of garage door opener for multiple models. This helped learn how to use the buttons on the main unit. There was no video for this model, except for ones that didn't help me out with this particular problem.

All you need to do is click through the programs and reset it, or reprogram the remote. I just clicked through the selections with the P button, and went till only the power button was lit up. I pressed the button on the remote, and nothing happened. I held down the big button on the remote, and it opened. Now I just tap the button, and it works. The wall switch all of the sudden felt like working too.

Strange indeed, but I hope this helps someone out there somehow.
