User Codes Requirements

Each user code must be a unique code between 4 and 8 digits.

A total of 8 user codes can be programmed.

How does the Weiser Keypad Works?

Each button represents two numbers (i.e. 1 and 2 for the first button). You only need to push the button once to get either 1 or 2. For example: If your code is 1-2-5-6-8

Weiser Keypad Programming Behavior

Successful Programming

• The keypad will flash green once, and you will hear one beep*.

Unsuccessful Programming

• The keypad will flash red three times, and you will hear three beeps*.

Timeout

If no button is pressed for five seconds, the system will time out and you will need to restart the procedure.

Adding User Codes

Wieser Master code not enabled:

1. Press the Program button the number of times that corresponds to the user code position being programmed. Example: If programming the third code, press the button three times.

         4. If everything goes well, switch #3 will beep once and the keypad will flash green once.

If unsuccessful, there may be a limit of 30 user codes that have been programmed or the user code may have be programmed.

Check to see if the door lock can be unlocked using the new user code.

Master code enabled:

1. Press the Program button once. The keypad will flash green and you will hear three beeps.

2. Enter MASTER CODE

3. Press the Lock button once.

4. Press the Program button the number of times that corresponds to the user code position being programmed.
Example: If programming the third code, press the button three times.

5. Enter the new USER code.

6. Press the Lock button once.

Enabling and Adding a Weiser Master code (Optional for Enhanced Security)

User codes can be programmed with or without a master code. Using a master code is an optional, added-security measure. It is not enabled by default. A master code is used to add and delete user codes, but it cannot unlock the door (unless the same code is programmed as a user code, though this is not recommended). The master code must be 4-8 digits.

1. Press and HOLD Program button until the keypad ­ashes green (about 5 seconds).
2. Enter new master code.
3. Press the Lock button once.

4. Re-enter master code.

5. Press the Lock button once.

If unsuccessful

Make sure the master code has not been programmed already. Attempt this procedure again, making sure to enter the same new master code

Disabling and Deleting the Master code

1. Press and HOLD Program button until the keypad ­ashes green (about 5 seconds).

2. Press the Lock button once.

3. Enter master code.

4. Press the Lock button once.

5. Re-enter master code.

6. Press the Lock button once.

If unsuccessful

Make sure the master code has been enabled before trying to disable it. Attempt this procedure again, making sure to enter the same master code.

Deleting User Codes

In order to delete a user code, you must override the code by adding a different user code in the same position. For example, if you want to delete the third code, add a different user code in position three.

If you cannot remember the user code position, you may wish to perform a factory reset to delete all codes associated with the lock.

How to Factory Reset Weiser Keypad Lock?

A factory reset will delete all codes associated with the lock.

1. Remove the battery pack.

2. Press and HOLD the Program button while reinserting the battery pack. Keep holding the button for 30 seconds until the lock beeps and the status LED ­ashes red.

Press the Program button once more. In 20 seconds, when the LED ­ashes green and you hear one beep, the lock has been reset.

How to change the Code of Weiser lock Powerbolt?

A total of 6 User Codes (and a temporary one-time User Code) may be programmed. Do not program a User Code that is the same as your Mastercode.

Note: A User Code is used to unlock the door while a Mastercode is a password for making changes to the lock features.

1. Make sure the lock is unlocked and the door
   is open.
2. Enter your Mastercode – for new install,
   default is 0-0-0-0.
3. Press  (Lock Button) You will hear one beep.
4. Press 1.
5. Press   (Lock Button) You will hear one beep.
6. Enter a new User Code. It must be 4-10 digits.
7. Press . (Lock Button) You will hear two beeps if successful. If you hear three beeps, it was unsuccessful. Repeat from

How to change a Mastercode of Weiser lock Powerbolt?

The Mastercode will not unlock your door. It is an added security feature that is used to set up all functions.

The default Mastercode is 0-0-0-0. It is recommended that you change it to a code of your own.

1. Make sure the lock is unlocked and the door is open.
2. Enter your Mastercode – for new install,
   default is 0-0-0-0.
3. Press  (Lock Button)You will hear one beep.
4. Press 7.
5. Press  (Lock Button)You will hear one beep.
6. Enter a new Mastercode. It must be between
   4 and 10 digits.
7. Press  (Lock Button)You will hear two beeps if successful. If you hear three beeps, it was unsuccessful. Repeat step 1 slowly.

How to delete a User Codes of Weiser lock Powerbolt?

The lock is pre-programmed with a default User Code of 1-2-3-4. It is recommended that you delete this code.

1. Make sure the lock is unlocked and the door

2. Enter your existing Mastercode.
3. Press   (Lock Button) You will hear one beep.

6. Enter the User Code you wish to delete.
