New ecobee smart thermostat not powering on Fix!

Purchased this new ecobee smart thermostat to replace another one and its not working?? Watch the video to find out what was wrong and save your self a whole lot of trouble! I would say watch this before installing it, but if your here, it is most likely to late. However this fix is really easy and quick! Safe to say that this fix can pretty much work for any thermostat that doesn't have power, like Nest and so on.
Another reason that Ecobee may not turn on, could be due to your control board in the furnace going bad. Appreciate the advice from@rposham
