Alexa Blink Commands

The Blink Indoor Home Security Camera and the All-New Blink XT2 Indoor/Outdoor Security Camera are both fully wireless security cameras that are battery-powered and connect to your house network to provide 24/7 video and audio monitoring of your home. You can place these cameras wherever in your home because there are no cables to worry with.

By installing the Blink Smartphone Skill in the Alexa app, you may connect any Blink product to be controlled by Alexa via any Echo speakers or screens in your house. If you use an Echo Show or Spot to access the live camera stream, the voice control feature works well.

  1. There needs to be an Alexa command to continually show the live view from all cameras in rotation for a short period, i.e. “Alexa, show me All Cameras for 5 seconds”.

  2. The blink doorbell supports 2 way audio with Alexa, but not with any of the other cameras. The blink app does this just fine.

The door bell shows me my batteries are red but it’s hardwired.
