Nest Doorbell Homekit

Overview of Nest Doorbell Homekit

Starling Home Hub v2 is smaller and more power-efficient; v1 will still get updates. Version 6.4 adds iOS 14/iPadOS/tvOS readiness, HomePod doorbell announcements, and picture-in-picture for Nest doorbell via HomeKit. The hub lets you add Nest Thermostat, Protect, Camera, Secure, and Nest × Yale Lock to Apple Home and Siri without sharing data with Starling. Setup uses Ethernet, power, and setup.starlinghome.io. Common issues include network routing, VPN/firewall interference, and Home app warnings about non-certified accessories, which can be safely ignored by choosing Add Anyway.
