The Roombas family of robot vacuums was introduced in 2002 by iRobot and all Wi-Fi supported Roomba devices works with Alexa commands.

Irobot Roomba can even understand Alexa commands spoken in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish

Which Roombas Are Wi-Fi-Enabled?

Once your Roomba® (i3, i7, s9, and 900 series) and Braava® (m Series) robots learn your space and you have customized your Smart Map, you can use Alexa and Imprint™ Link Technology to enable your robot mop to automatically begin mopping after your robot vacuum has completed vacuuming.

Robots with Imprint™ Smart Mapping Technology

Once Roomba® or Braava® has learned your space and you have customized your Smart Map, you can use your Alexa-enabled device to direct the cleaning of a specific room, zone, or object, as long as they have already been labeled in the iRobot® HOME App.

Note:

• If you do not specify a room in your voice command, Alexa will ask if you would like to clean all your rooms. Then Alexa will ask you to list the rooms you wouldd like to clean, one at a time, and then say “Done” when finished. Alternatively, you can specify up to two (2) rooms in a single command, as listed in the examples below.
• If you have multiple robots with Imprint™ Smart Maps, tell Alexa which robot you want to put to work.
