Roomba Google Home Voice Commands

With your Google Assistant, you can use Roomba Google Home voice commands to clean on demand, like starting or stopping cleaning, directing your robot to specific areas in your house, or performing other tasks, such as scheduling an upcoming cleaning robot. Google Assistant connects to all your iRobot devices for vacuuming and mopping, giving you hands-free access.

Google Assistant compatibility requires your robot and iRobot® HOME App software versions to be up to date. If you have been using older commands, please unlink and relink the Roomba via Google Home app first.

Roomba® Single Robot Commands

Commands marked with an * are only available on i7 and s9 Series robots.

Pause Vacuuming	Hey Google, pause vacuuming.
Resume Vacuuming	Hey Google, resume vacuuming. Hey Google, tell Roomba to resume vacuuming, Hey Google, unpause the vacuum.
Stop Vacuuming	Hey Google, stop vacuuming. Hey Google, tell Roomba to stop vacuuming. Hey Google, stop the vacuum.

Robots with Imprint™ Link Technology

Once your Roomba® (i3, i7, s9, and 900 series) robots learn your space and you have customized your smart map, you can use Google and Imprint™ Link Technology to enable your robot mop to automatically begin mopping after your robot vacuum has completed vacuuming.

If you only want your robot to vacuum or mop, say “Hey Google, start vacuuming” or “Hey Google, start mopping.”

Cleaning specific rooms by Smart Mapping Technology

Once Roomba® robots learn your space and you have customized your smart map, you can use your Google Assistant to direct the cleaning of a specific room, zone, or object, provided they have been labeled in the iRobot® HOME App.

You will need to specify which robot you want Google Assistant to monitor if more than one Roomba® is linked to your iRobot® HOME app. Replace (the robot name) in the list below with the name of your desired robot.
